Splunk Engineer

Job: Monitoring Engineer (Splunk)

Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid)

Salary: up to €5,000 per month

Job Type: Permanent

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

1. On-boarding and indexing data.
2. Building dashboards.
3. Developing, maintaining and managing a Splunk environment for optimal performance.
4. Come up with improvement proposals to the customer.

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Experience with independently designing, building and implementing a data environment. For example, from a previous role as data consultant, data analyst, data architect or data scientist.
2. Extensive experience with Splunk, ELK stack or other similar products.
3. In depth knowledge of Windows and Linux.
4. Knowledge of Python or another Scripting language.
5. Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure, Rancher or Terraform) is definitely an added value.
