They're actively seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and compliance of their software products - used by global organisations across regulated industries.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment, and who brings strong experience in software testing within SaaS or regulated settings. The business operates in highly technical domains, so attention to detail and a commitment to best practices are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the company’s end-to-end software testing and validation processes.
- Define, implement, and manage automated and manual testing strategies across a complex technical stack (Python, Next.js, AWS).
- Lead the creation and maintenance of test plans covering functional, performance, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Actively identify, report, and track defects, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in design and code reviews, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and testable.
- Stay current with industry standards and best practices for test engineering, particularly within regulated software environments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across both product quality and internal processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in software testing or quality assurance, ideally in a SaaS or cloud-native environment.
- Familiarity with validation processes in regulated industries. Experience with GxP or ISO 13485 standards would be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g. pytest, Playwright, Selenium).
- Comfortable using CI/CD pipelines and tooling—GitLab or similar.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
