Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Fully Remote (Candidate must be based in the UK)

Salary: £450 - £500 per day (Inside IR35)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and support projects aimed at implementing new infrastructure into the TMK environment. This is a fully remote position; however, the candidate must be based in the UK and have full UK right to work as sponsorship is not provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and support cloud-based solutions from an infrastructure perspective, primarily focusing on AWS with some use of Azure.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, and SQL Server. Additionally, administer Snowflake environments.
• Build and manage environments using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Install or assist in the installation of applications and services, automating the process where possible.
• Promote releases across various environments through to production.
• Collaborate with Architects to build environments based on High-Level Designs (HLDs) and work with other teams to ensure adherence to required standards and patterns.

Core Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure solutions, with a strong emphasis on AWS and some experience with Azure.
• Proficient in Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, and SQL Server.
• Administrative knowledge of Snowflake.
• Strong working knowledge of DevOps principles and technologies, particularly IAC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience in installing applications/services and promoting releases across environments.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience working with a variety of technology stacks for compute, storage, virtualization, and network products, ideally including VMware, Cisco UCS, HP Nimble, Pure, and others.
