Assembly Apprentice (Level 3 Engineering Fitter)
An Assembly Apprentice (Level 3 Engineering Fitter) is required. A great opportunity to join our expanding Assembly or Machine Shop teams. The apprentice will practice their technological skills within a world leading metrology business. The work is varied and includes general machining, product assembly & testing of our high precision metrology instrumentation. Full on-site training is provided.
Role
- Assemble, test, and calibrate valuable products, at times working with small components and demanding deadlines
- Develop product knowledge to support all areas of Assembly and/or Machine shop production when required
- Develop skills in electrical and mechanical precision assembly with the ability to support internal customers, other departments and team members.
Training
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Apprenticeships Standard in Engineering Fitter-

- Level 3 Diploma (EAL) in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
Delivery Method:
- Apprentices attend Loughborough College one day per week (Term Time Only).
- Full time role with view to wider organisation progression, e.g. skilled technician, service technician, product development or other engineering roles.
