Engineering Apprenticeship
Apprentice to join TE Connectivity Advanced System Architecture (ASA) team within our Aerospace Defence and Marine (AD&M) business unit. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a group of subject matter experts who understand customer architecture and TE capabilities to support our customers with concepts, prototyping and testing.
Role
As a member of the engineering team, you will gain experience in
- Polymer formulation design, compounding, and operating various polymer processing equipment.
- Working with Laboratory scale equipment such as Intermix, extruder, and injection moulding machines
- Additionally, you will perform product testing and write working procedures.
Training
- Technician Scientist level 5 qualification
- Training would be once a week at New College Swindon
- Additional year study to obtain full degree. (This could also be day release)
