Product/Test Apprenticeship
Enthusiastic Product Technician to be a key part of our Aerospace, Defense and Marine Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn mechanical, electrical and environmental product test methods, and gain experience in operating laboratory scale test and processing equipment.
Role
- Wire and cable product testing (i.e. mechanical, environmental, electrical)
- Operating lab scale processing equipment (i.e. extruder, mixer, press)
- Interpretation of Product Drawings
- Interpretation of Product specification and standards
- Writing reports and procedures
- General laboratory house keeping
- Participation in training courses
Training
- Technician Scientist level 5
- Training would be once a week at New College Swindon
Additional year study to complete and obtain a full degree (This could also be day release).
