Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Pharmacy Technicians looking to expand their experience by working on-sitewithin a GP in Durham.
Main duties of the job
- Undertake medicine reconciliations of patient record
- Prescribe in line with the practice protocols
- Update patient records, support medicine reviews and synchronization for groups of patients i.e., care homes
- Improve patients' safe use of medicines
- Help patients to get the best from their medicines by switching the medications to agreed and approved protocols
- Carry out prescribing audits and medicines safety alerts
- Support with Structured Medications Reviews

We are currently seeking registered Pharmacy Technician to work on-site in a General Practice in Durham.
The Role
- Undertake medicine reconciliations of patient record
- Prescribe in line with the practice protocols
- Update patient records, support medicine reviews and synchronization for groups of patients i.e., care homes
- Improve patients' safe use of medicines
- Help patients to get the best from their medicines by switching the medications to agreed and approved protocols
- Carry out prescribing audits and medicines safety alerts
- Support with Structured Medications Review
The Skills
To join our team, you will have 6 months minimum of experience in working in a general practice as a registered Pharmacy Technician.
You will have a relevant degree/qualification to show you are registered and you will be a highly focused and motivated individual.

- Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Qualification
Experience
- Experience as a registered Pharmacy Technician within a GP.
Commute
- Able to commute to Sutton Coldfild
