Senior Data Engineer

• €80k-€85k + 10% bonus, health, pension and more

I am seeking a Senior Data Engineer to provide top-notch data foundations to support our clients products, platforms, and business functions. Working in a collaborative environment,  you will work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and audience teams reporting to the Head of Data Analytics.

Excellent English and communication skills are key along with being comfortable working in an Agile environment.

• Working on the early stages of the data lifecycle, ensuring efficient data capture from source data and integrating it into core datasets. You will translate business understanding and ideas into ETL architecture and analytics.
• Convert raw, disparate data into defined, reusable data products for data-savvy end users.
• Lead the capture and integration of new and existing data sources into Big Query and Azure.
• Work with various APIs to bring clean, timely data into our core platforms of Big Query and Azure.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to understand data needs and visually represent key data insights meaningfully.
• Be an agile, dynamic, outcomes-focused team member with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Lead large-scale data migration projects.
• Work with the Head of Data and Analytics in creating effective data flow plans.
• Assist the team in gathering business requirements from stakeholders, especially non-technical ones.
• 5+ Years experience in a data team
• Skilled in SQL & Python
• Data storage patterns & schemas
• Web analytics – has worked with web and app data
• Great stakeholder management
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Google cloud platform, google analytics, big query, data studio would be beneficial
• Knowledge of JavaScript is beneficial
