Sn IT Infrastructure Engineer

• €60000 - €70000/Year
• Northern Ireland Location - Newry
• Hybrid - with one day/week WFH

As a L3 System Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and managing their global IT infrastructure, network security, and cloud operations. You'll work closely with teams across the company, providing third-level support and leading key infrastructure projects.  Occasional site visits and opportunities for global travel are part of the role, allowing you to engage with teams across different locations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide support for all group IT infrastructure, security, and associated applications.
• Manage and maintain network and communication systems, including WAN, SDWAN, and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
• Collaborate with the security team for technical assistance on security implementations and operations.
• Oversee the management of Windows Server environments (on-premise and in Azure).
• Administer Active Directory and Azure AD in a complex network environment.
• Lead infrastructure projects including server/application migrations to the cloud (Azure experience advantageous), cybersecurity implementations, and network upgrades (LAN/WAN/SDWAN/SASE).
• Ensure proactive maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of systems to meet KPIs and SLAs.
• Provide on-call support on a rotational basis.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior IT infrastructure role.
• Extensive experience supporting Cisco network infrastructure (CCNA/CCNP preferred).
• Proven expertise in cybersecurity systems, including EDR, SIEM, firewalls, patching, and email security.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019) and Hyper-V environments.
• Experience working with IAAS, PAAS, SAAS platforms (Microsoft certifications for Cloud Engineering and Azure are an advantage).
• Proficient in using security and network monitoring tools.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working towards KPI's and SLA's.
