Temporary Staffing & E-Roster Administrator

Job summary

To provide first line support and advice to both Managers and Trust staff on the implementation of the Rostering System. Be responsible for the complete "roll-out" of the new Bank Module which is linked to Healthroster. To undertake such duties as maybe required to ensure that both systems are fully incorporated within departments that both systems are fully incorporated within departments in a timely manner to allow for projected staffing savings to come to fruition by:

Conducting training sessions and providing 1st level helpdesk advice and support

Troubleshooting all issues to ensure the system works effectively.

Providing day to day support for the staff and ensuring appropriate investigation of any errors/dysfunction.

Accurate input of information into the Healthroster System.

Maintaining high quality data and report to Executive Board.

Producing accurate and timely KPI's for Trust Performance meetings

Supporting local training programs for the Healthroster system

Main duties of the job

Responsible for the design and implementation of an effective system to evaluate and measure both systems software benefits.

Responsible for the evaluation and assessment of the software's benefits producing reports where necessary and reporting back to the Exec team and managers.

To provide data on an ad hoc basis as required by Head of Nursing, Matrons, Ward Managers and their deputies including revising establishments and interpreting this into ward staffing demand.

To collect and prepare activity data as required including efficiency indicators on roster production, utilisation of staff and performance of the software.

Responsible for the preparation and distribution of KPI reports on a monthly basis.

Be responsible for the organisation and planning of the roll out of Healthrosterto all new non-clinical areas. To manage change within the organisation, being a champion of the software and encouraging others to adapt to a new way of working. To participate in sub-projects as required. Undertake pilots for newdevelopments of the software / interfaces as required. Undertake work that has been prioritised by the Supervisor / Line Manager

Qualifications

Essential
  • GCSE Math's, English and ICT 9- 4 (A-C) or equivalent

Experience

Essential
  • Experience of producing work which demands high levels of accuracy and attention to detail - Previous experience maintaining and developing effective systems and processes. - Previous administration experience - Previous experience of working within a team
Desirable
  • Previous NHS experience - Knowledge / previous experience of Healthroster - Knowledge / previous experience of ESR

Knowledge/Skills

Essential
  • Proven organisational skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Excellent customer services skills - Excellent attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of data quality - Good analytical and numerical skills. Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise own workload - Ability to review and interpret data - Ability to maintain and manage accurate records - Able to cope with new and changing demands.
  • Expert knowledge of IT systems, to include the complete Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
