Senior Analyst Programmer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst Programmer to join our client, who is an international, multi award winning, manufacturer. If you have a strong background in analysis, programming, and testing, we want to speak with you!!!
This is a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, and debug software applications and solutions.
- Analyse existing systems and business models, map current processes, and recommend solutions that will enhance or streamline operations.
- Develop and maintain SQL database schemas and scripts, including views, triggers, and stored procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions with other corporate systems, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Participate in the gathering and analysis of user requirements and the development of project specifications.
- Lead the review and feedback sessions with stakeholders to validate business processes and solutions against user requirements.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements to propose systems improvements and upgrades.
Requirements:
- Experience with iSeries will be an advantage but not compulsory.
- Proven expertise in SQL, with an ability to write optimized queries and understand complex database designs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and offer solutions to complex problems.
- Knowledge of RPG, CLP and SQL programming languages.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and interact professionally with users at all levels within the company.
- A proactive attitude, with the willingness to take initiative and drive projects to completion.
