Calling all sports enthusiasts! 

We are currently seeking a proactive and enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to join the IT team of a dynamic global leading sports organisation that prides itself on innovation and excellence. You will  work on exciting technical projects and collaborate with teams across the globe.

Based in Manchester with occasional international travel (ample notice provided).  This role is key to ensuring the reliable and secure operation of IT systems across the business. What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and support desktop systems across multiple locations.
  • Handle desktop and laptop builds, Azure Active Directory, automated software deployments, Office 365, email/web filtering, cloud telephony and asset management.
  • Ensure network patching and remote site management.
  • Contribute to the security of the business by ensuring compliance with ISO27001, BS10012, ISO22301, and Cyber Essentials Plus standards.
  • Work closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager to monitor security, manage file permissions, and ensure disaster recovery plans are ready to be activated.
  • Act as a key technical resource for IT and business-driven projects, including office moves, network upgrades, and system rollouts.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar IT support role in a commercial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Azure AD, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Windows 10 System Administration.
  • Experience with desktop imaging, Office 365, and AV systems.
  • A team player with a collaborative working style who can remain calm and customer-focused under pressure.
  • A proactive and diligent problem solver who can foresee issues and plan ahead.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with ISO27001, ITIL, PCI security, and cloud technologies such as Azure.
  • Experience with PowerShell, SharePoint Administration, and technical project delivery.
  • ITIL Foundation or relevant Microsoft certifications would be advantageous.
