Transformation PMO Lead

We’re looking for a Transformation PMO Lead to join our financial services client, based in either the West Midlands or South East.  This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in a large scale modernisation programme that will transform the business and enable their ever-growing ambitions.  You'll be acting as the 'guardian' of the programme and this role has a PMO feel to it, as opposed to direct project management.

This role will be integral in supporting the Chief Transformation Office in ensuring the function effectively manages the interaction with the Group’s Board, Executive team and their wider functional teams.  You’ll also be responsible for maintaining successful daily business practices, providing direction, governance and oversight to key stakeholders (internal & external) including preparing regular updates to senior executives and regulators against established programme goals.

You’ll need to be a dynamic individual with the proven ability for demonstrating flexibility in your approach, adapting quickly and at times, at short notice to the changing needs, demands and pace of the programme.

Key experience we’re looking for:

  • Pack creation (including highly polished MS PowerPoint design and content), including reports and presentations
  • Working with a variety of stakeholders and managing expectations
  • Producing business cases
  • Building effective working relationships
  • Strong communicator and transposer of information to other parties (internal or external)
  • Support with communications (including representing the programme in meetings, presentations and forums)
  • Regular reviews and updates to regulators
  • Vendor management
  • Budget management
  • Change/project management lifecycle
  • Risk management
  • Strong analytical skills and decision-making
