Lead Data Engineer

A fantastic opportunity within a global market leader has emerged for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to take over their Data Engineering function at a hugely exciting time.

As an enthusiastic leader with a plethora of experience and knowledge, you will be taking over and inspiring a friendly and successful team of Engineers in helping them to deliver best practices in order to drive the business forward in its use of AI driven cutting edge technology.
As an experienced operator at Senior Leadership level, you will collaborate with other senior members of the Data team in helping to formulate and drive organisational data strategy, and make sure your team is delivering the best service possible to the business.

Having successfully delivered the building of data warehouses, pipelines and structures in your recent career, preferably within an Informatica/ AWS focused environment, whilst developing your skills as a supportive leader along the way, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing your team whilst ensuring the quality of work and ideas produced are of the highest possible standards.

Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in ETL or Data Engineering role, building and implementing data pipelines
* 3 - 5 years experience leading a technical team
* Demonstrable experience of operating within the AWS and Informatica environments highly preferred
