We are representing a market leading, international FMCG business who are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their organisation. This Data & Analytics team currently sits at 9 but is growing rapidly. You will work closely with the Head of Data Management and will be the 2nd Data Engineering hire in the area. This is a real opportunity to shape and build-on their strong foundations to expand the Data capability.

Our client has some well-running Data infrastructure with a new Snowflake platform at its centre. The successful candidate will help add to this platform both in features and robustness. Expect to work on Data Ingestion as a big part of the first 6-months. As the Senior Data Engineer you will work with the UK arm of the business but will work with global data, delivered through a hub & spoke model.

We are looking for:

• Proven experience in a Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering role, ideally at a Senior level
• Strong expertise in data engineering tools & technologies - particularly Snowflake
• An appreciation of Data Architecture and Data Management principles
• Experience in the B2C, Retail or Travel industries would be an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management experience, you will be facing off to the business.
