Operations Development Manager (NetSuite & Finance Specialist) – The Role:

Focused on Group wide projects, supporting; automation and process improvement initiatives, new product launches, transformation initiatives and performance reporting and KPIs.

You will play a lead role in delivering against these areas and whilst eventually working across all areas of the business, the focus for the first 12-18 months will be Finance Netsuite systems and processes. You will support and strengthen our NetSuite ERP system for the accounting function and the wider business.

After this initial period, you will progress to work on initiatives and change activity in relation to; operations efficiency, acquisitions/large partner integrations, new product development / launches, KPIs & reporting, and general business workflow improvement – whilst maintaining your Finance specialism.

Operations Development Manager (NetSuite & Finance Specialist)– Key Duties:

Be a key resource in the delivery of initiatives in operations and the wider business. You will scope, plan, and implement across a range of projects working with all relevant internal stakeholders

For the first 12-18 months, most of your time will be spent reviewing, managing and developing our Netsuite system and processes, including:

- Manage and administer NetSuite ERP system

- Integrate Oracle systems with Treasury systems, Salesforce and Zendesk etc.

- Train other departmental users on NetSuite functionality

- Customise NetSuite to meet business needs

- Work with IT to ensure data integrity

- Develop and maintain financial reports to support decision-making processes

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within NetSuite

- Streamline financial workflows to enhance efficiency

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and integrations

- Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite-related issues

- Communicate relevant NetSuite updates to the business areas impacted

- Assist audits by providing necessary documentation

After initial period:

- Work with teams across different operations regions, ensuring you take an end-to-end, group wide view on delivering on areas such as; large partner onboarding/book migrations, operations process re-engineering, automation & digitalisation, and wider business workflow optimisation

- Define and construct KPIs and reporting for operations

- Use KPI/SLA reporting outputs to identify and act on improvements

- Work with the Group Operations Director to emphasise operations priorities and benefits, delivering comms through multiple mediums to the wider business

- Contribute to the operations leadership cohort. Use your expertise to add value to operations performance

Operations Development Manager (NetSuite & Finance Specialist)– You:

Essential:

- Extensive knowledge of financial systems: ORACLE, NetSuite, Datarails, etc

- Previously implemented improvement initiatives into large operations teams with demonstrable benefits

- Proven experience as a NetSuite Administrator, Developer or similar role

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes

- Can work cross functionally and operate in a multi-regional environment

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information quickly and accurately, and able to translate this into actionable outputs that will deliver improved performance

- Can influence at all levels, using adaptable communication styles and methods to assist in delivering against own objectives

Desirable:

- NetSuite certification

- Operational Management experience
