Senior Fullstack Developer

Our client, a SaaS Company, is on a mission to enhance the performance and safety of highway network infrastructures. By capturing accurate data to define and manage risk, their systems play a vital role in addressing issues stemming from natural disasters like floods and wind damage.
  
Joining a dynamic development team, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the CTO and Senior Software Architect in their pursuit of modernising and improving the existing tech stack. Leveraging AWS services, including serverless solutions and CDK for Infrastructure as Code deployments, the team is venturing into a transformative journey. From SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, AppSync, Pipelines to advanced technologies like Machine Learning with Rekognition's custom labels and IoT MQTT, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge innovations.
  
The ongoing transformation includes transitioning from Backbone JS to Vue.JS and Quasar, with concurrent migration of the API from Perl to NodeJS and relocation of the database into AWS RDS.
  
Required Skills:
  

• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript coding.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and aptitude for code investigation.
• Capability to contribute significantly to project deliveries.
• Willingness to seek assistance when needed and provide support to team members.
• Strong SQL expertise (Postgres).

  
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  

• Experience with AWS serverless technologies.
• Familiarity with reading Perl code
• Proficiency in Cordova for iOS and Android app development.
• Experience with Vue.JS (or React).
