This exciting role will see you working within a dynamic Power Platform Centre of Excellence team.
The team works to propose, design, build, and ensure governance of Power Platform solutions throughout UHB.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is a logical thinker with excellent problem solving and analytical skills, combined with the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver successful IT change.
You will have a keen understanding of Power Platform, its components and uses in modern healthcare and corporate industry.
You will have a deep knowledge of IT best practices, and be skilled at adapting your approach on the fly. You will be passionate about innovation, optimisation, and automation, and have practical expertise in developing, supporting, and implementing Power Platform solutions.
You should have a good knowledge and experience of working in an ITIL driven environment.
Main duties of the job
Leverage solid Power Platform skills and experience to design, create, and promote apps and automations within UHB NHS Foundation Trust.
Work as part of the Centre of Excellence (CoE) team to administer the Power Platform Centre of Excellence.
Work under the direction of the CSI Manager/CoE Lead, using Business Analysis techniques to quantify, measure, and document selected processes, procedures, and systems across the Trust.
Leverage Business Analysis techniques and Power Platform skills to propose, develop, and implement apps and automations across the Trust.
Produce clear, accurate, and professional technical documentation for apps, automations, processes, and procedures.
Day to day management and monitoring of a team specific ITBM support queue within agreed Service Level Agreements, actioning, updating and / or closing tickets as required.
Promote best practice and safe, compliant, and effective use of the tools within Power Platform.
Arrange, attend, and steer meetings with Trust colleagues and representatives from external third-party entities.
To revisit previously completed work on a set periodical basis to assess and measure the ongoing viability and effectiveness of CoE-implemented solutions.
The postholder should be able to plan on own initiative all activities, tasks, meetings, and site visits around the ongoing CoE workload, and be able to prioritise dependent upon the urgency or sensitivity of requests.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- *IT related Degree /Higher Diploma or equivalent industry qualification or experience.
- *Power Platform certification or equivalent
- *ITIL Foundation Certificate or equivalent.
- *Business Analysis qualification
- *Technical IT qualification
Experience
- *Proven experience of building and implementing Power Apps and Power Automate flows within a large organisation.
- *Relevant IT experience gained working within either a1st, 2nd, or 3rd line support tier function
- *Extensive experience of providing Application and Software support within an ICT environment
- *Extensive experience of working within defined Service Level Agreements & Service Level Targets
- *High level of understanding of ITIL processes and Service Management best practice framework

- *Customer focussed with excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
