We are looking for a new team member for a 12 month fixed term contract who shares our passion for customer service, and attention to detail.

Main duties of the job

Job Purpose

To assist the Clinical Systems Support Office (CSSO) team in creating/amending all user accounts for clinical systems which include, but not limited to;

Electronic Patient Record

Electronic Patient Observations

Order Communications

Theatres

Maternity

Electronic Document Management

There are other systems that are supported by the CSSO and will require creating/amending user accounts.

Person Specification

Qualifications and Training

Essential
  • Good standard of general education with particular strengths in English Language and Mathematics at GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent
  • Recognised computer/IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • ECDL or equivalent

Knowledge and Experience

Essential
  • Understanding the importance of confidentiality and data protection issues in a healthcare environment
  • Good working knowledge of Trust Systems
  • Experience of team working to achieve targets
Desirable
  • Experience of working in the NHS
  • Experience of working in a process oriented environment dependant on accuracy and attention to detail

Skills and Abilities

Essential
  • Excellent customer service skills for both internal and external users
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, frequently communicating with colleagues
  • Able to work independently on tasks and to work within a team
  • Planning and organising a number of tasks or activities which are straightforward and may require the adjustment of plans in day to day working
  • Good concentration skills with speed and accuracy of data processing
  • Computer literacy skills including use of MS office applications for Excel, Email, word processing etc
  • Good keyboard skills with the ability to update information quickly and accurately
  • Flexible attitude to ensure that optimum support is offered to the Service Leads and administrators in delivering services to patients
