1ST/2ND LINE SUPPORT

IT Support Engineer – Birmingham - £28,000 to £30,000.

We have partnered with an organisation based within the educational sector, who specialise in Technology and Telecoms. The company are recruiting for two IT Support Engineers to join their team of 20 Engineers.

The IT Support Engineer will be office based 2 days a week in the office – part of the support desk in Coleshill office and 3 days on client site – client site can be UK wide – travel will be either incorporated within the working day or paid as overtime.

Whilst in the probation period (6 months) the IT Support Engineer will need to use their own car and once passed, they will be eligible for a van. The IT Support Engineer will receive mileage paid and extra pay for using their own car.

Requirements of the IT Support Engineer:

• 2+ years 1st and 2nd line support experience
• Experience working with Microsoft devices - Windows server / Windows desktop, Office 365
• UK driving license and a Car
• Happy to go through a DBS check.
• Strong communicator and customer facing experience.
• Desirable – MSP experience/ experience working in the educational sector.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer:

• Manage your own tickets.
• Follows SLAs and deal with all tickets in a timely manner.
• Provide technical support onsite and remotely.

IT Support Engineer – Birmingham - £25,000 to £28,000.
