Software Developer (Communication Drivers) – Contract – Inside IR35 – Hybrid - Staffordshire

VIQU have partnered with a leading consultancy who deliver critical projects in energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing.

Our client is recruiting for a Software Developer to develop Communications Drivers, with a strong focus on IIoT platforms (Industrial Internet of Things).

The successful Software Developer will develop solutions to digitise and optimise industrial operational processes, ranging across automation control, control panels and control systems, cyber security, and industrial operational technology programmes.

Key skills & experience for the Software Developer (Communication Driver):

• Strong experience developing communication drivers for industrial control systems
• Strong experience working with IIoT platforms such as: ThingWorx, Aveva stack, Digital Twins and Machine Learning, analytical tools, other relevant operational technology systems
• Solid experience in C++ Development, working in a sandboxed environment
• Experience with languages such as Python, C#, JSON, HTML
• Agile methodology

• Job role: Software Developer (Communication Driver)
• Job type: Contract
• Duration: 6 months’ contract
• Rate: £400 - £500 per day   
• IR35 status: Inside IR35
• Location: Hybrid – Stafford
