Test Automation Engineer
As the Test Automation Engineer you will be responsible for the: designing, developing, and maintenance of automated tests, making sure the quality of software through the use of CI/CD pipelines.
Key areas of responsibilities:
- Create unit tests for Front End components
- Develop integration tests to verify communication between Front End and Back End services
- Work closely with Front End, Back End, and mobile developers to understand application functionality and design test cases
- Re-factor and improve existing test scripts for better maintainability and efficiency
- Research and implement new testing tools and frameworks relevant to the project
- Overseeing all aspects of developing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts using automation tools.
- Actively contributing to both our Quality Engineering teams and our clients in establishing Automation and Testing best practices for the organisation.
- Collaborating with various teams to address their automation challenges and coordinating efforts with diverse teams to resolve performance test failures.
Key skills we are looking for:
- Understanding of Software Engineering principles, ideally within a cloud native environment
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Appium, and tools such as Selenium , Gen AI
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript (3+years).
- Experience testing web applications across multiple browsers and operating systems including mobile.
- A good understanding of AWS security best practices for test environments would be beneficial
- Certifications (beneficial to have): - ISTQB Certified Tester - AWS certifications, eg. AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
