Software Architect

A brand new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Software Architect to join a Cambridge-based R&D company who have developed a brand-new array of cell culture and cell therapies instrumentation.

Their technology is set to revolutionise the manufacturing and process automation for the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology market. With a queue of clients and ‘off-plan’ pre-orders for the systems, this technology and company is set to evolve rapidly. The Software Architect will play a key role within the organisation, and be integral in helping shape the framework of the software, and ultimately develop the functionality of the system.

As a Software Architect you’ll be involved in the full product development lifecycle, from requirement capture to delivering prototypes. Leading software projects, but with the opportunity to work closely with the broader electronics, mechanical, biology and system engineering aspects of the projects as well.
This role will appeal to you if you retain a passion for “hands-on” development while, at the same time, using your experience to guide the “big picture” thinking needed to bring projects to a successful conclusion.

In return you can expect an excellent salary, superb benefits package together with a first rate and highly stimulating working environment.
