Data Analyst

Data Analyst / Environment and Agriculture / Oxfordshire / Permanent / £TBC 

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join a team focused on data-driven solutions in agriculture and environmental sector. The role involves working with large environmental datasets, to create products and tools that improve performance and decision-making from preparing data ready for consumption.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with product and data teams as well as stakeholders to understand needs and provide useful data insights.
• Combine and enhance data sets to create valuable data products.
• Automate and streamline data pipelines to improve processes.
• Develop data products and improve existing ones.
• Build dashboards and tools to track product performance.

Essential Skills

• Strong understanding of different data types and environments.
• Knowledge of geospatial data, georeferencing, and cartography.
• Advanced SQL skills for working with large datasets.
• Experience with Python and AWS tools like Glue and Redshift.
• Familiarity with data lakes is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lambda is an advantage.
