Role Overview: As an Endpoint Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment, management, and support of endpoint devices across their client base. You will play a critical role in ensuring that clients' endpoint infrastructure is secure, reliable, and optimized for their needs.
Endpoint Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Endpoint Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of endpoint devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for endpoint-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Security: Implement and manage endpoint security measures, including antivirus, encryption, and patch management.
- Optimization: Continuously assess and improve endpoint performance and user experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other technical teams to integrate endpoint solutions with broader IT infrastructure.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation for endpoint configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in endpoint management and support within a managed service provider or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM).
- Familiarity with security protocols and best practices related to endpoint protection.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are desirable.
