Firewall Security Engineer

An global entertainment business are seeking a Network Firewall Security Engineer & Architect to join the team on an initial 6 month, Outside IR35 contract basis starting ASAP.

The role is hybrid based out of Central London close to Waterloo and will be 3 days per week onsite and 2 days working from home.

The role will involve working on an exciting project involving a complete global firewall security review and they are looking for a consultant who can help them manage the audit and document processes. Predominant technologies include Palo Alto & Panorama including other vendors and will involve working in a multi-tenant & multi-site set up.

Network Firewall Security Engineer & Architect:
Role: Network Security Architect (predominantly Palo Alto)
Start: ASAP
Location: 3 days per week near to Waterloo, London
Rate: £400/day Outside IR35
Length: Initial 6 months, potential chance for extension

Key skills required:

• Extensive Palo Alto and Panorama Experience - certifications desirable
• Experience of working within a security/firewall review project involving documentation, auditing and architectural design
• Experience of working in large scale, global, multi-tenant network environments
• Netbox/NSot
• Network automation tooling
• High level of security awareness and an understanding of PCI-DSS
