Azure - Senior Platform Engineer

Our enterprise agile tech consultancy client of ours in London are building out their Platform engineering function.  This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining delivery infrastructure and systems for large-scale technology transformation engagements.

Salary: Up to £110k (depending on experience) + strong flexible benefits package

Location: London - Hybrid

Experience Required:

• Commercial experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments in Azure.
• Proficiency with containers and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, or Pulumi.
• Expertise with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or TFS.
• Automation and scripting skills using PowerShell, AZ CLI, Python, or Bash.
• Strong understanding of configuration management tools like DSC, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Azure Monitor, or Datadog.

Desirable Skills:

• Programming experience with modern web languages like C#, Java, or Go.
• Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
• Experience supporting business development in client engagements.
