Due to continuous growth and expansion one of our Fintech clients will be looking for a Database Developer in 2025.
You'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex database structures within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-quality SQL database solutions to support the company's core business operations.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and software developers to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Maintain and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of database systems.
- Conduct regular database performance tuning and optimization activities.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, providing timely support.
- Work with business stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
- Document and maintain detailed technical specifications and processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an SQL Database Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of database development work.
- Proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Strong understanding of database design principles, data modelling, and optimization techniques.
- Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization in a high-volume environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) and ETL processes.
