Technical Support Engineer

Technical Support Engineer - £35,000 - Bristol with WFH flexibility (2 days per week)

Yolk Recruitment are working with an innovative FinTech organisation based in Bristol to expand on their IT Support team. They have already helped over a million people by giving them the tools they need to achieve their goals, from building their credit scores to growing their savings, to just understanding how it all works.

You will report directly to the Head of Technology in a hands-on role providing high quality service to both internal staff and customers. They have a remote working policy, but you will need to be available to come to the Bristol office 2-3 times a week.

This is what you'll be doing:

• First line desktop support to all remote and office-based staff
• Provide access to systems and software on an as needed basis
• Provision and onboard new staff with equipment, accounts and access
• Retrieve, retire or recommission leaver's equipment and accounts
• Maintain an inventory of high-value equipment
• Maintain our domainless directory system
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal end customers

The experience/knowledge you'll bring to the team:

• Working knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Mac OSX)
• Working knowledge of a directory system such as Microsoft AD or JumpCloud
• Working knowledge of Google Workspaces
• Working knowledge of a service desk ticketing system, such as JIRA service desk
