We are currently seeking an Apprentice Helpdesk Technician to join our team, specialising in supporting our tailored applications.NFS Technology is a prominent leader in developing, implementing, and providing customised conference, event, and room booking applications for a wide range of clients.

Role

In the role of Apprentice Helpdesk Technician, with a focus on Conference, Event & Room Booking Applications, you will be instrumental in offering technical support and troubleshooting services to our clientele. Collaborating with seasoned professionals, you'll ensure the seamless functionality and peak performance of our specialised applications. This position is an unparalleled chance to acquire practical IT support experience and build a solid foundation in application maintenance. 

  • Deliver technical assistance for our bespoke conference, event, and rooms booking applications to clients.
  • Promptly handle client queries through phone, email, or face-to-face interactions, ensuring professional and friendly support.
  • Diagnose client-reported issues, pinpoint underlying causes, and recommend effective remedies to reduce downtime and boost application performance.
  • Support the installation, setup, and upkeep of application-related software and hardware components.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance to guarantee application stability and dependability.
  • Work in tandem with the development team to communicate client feedback, suggest improvements, and help enhance application functionality.
  • Develop and keep up-to-date documentation on support incidents, solutions, and user guides, contributing to a detailed knowledge base.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and trends within the industry to improve your technical capabilities and aid in the team's ongoing advancement efforts.
  • Comply with SLAs and manage tasks efficiently to fulfil client expectations and meet internal timelines.
  • Maintain a professional and positive conduct when dealing with clients and colleagues alike, aiming to provide unparalleled customer service consistently.

  • Level 3 IT Solutions Apprenticeship standard qualification 
  • Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date.

The right candidate may be offered a permanent position after completion of the apprenticeship.
